I used to existing 4X4 posts from the previous wood hand rail. The iron rail was lightly sanded, primed, and painted white with spray enamel paint. Looks great and feels smooth. Quality product. The only suggestion is to make sure you have a powerful high-speed drill.

Old handrail was splintered and wobbly (unsafe). Replaced with a new DIY handrail system that is safe and sturdy.

Beautifully built product. Very sturdy and nicely finished. Installation takes some time (due to drilling eight 6 inch deep holes in concrete) but the end result is worth it.
